When you have cool kicks, you get the most out of your workout. It does not matter what your age is, when you have perfect technique, that kick gives you a more powerful punch, then an out-of-control kick that lands a foot to the side. When you practice kicking, be sure to keep these tips in mind. When you feel like your legs are about to give out, lower yourself into the workout. By doing so, you are less likely to sustain an injury.

Try not to wear tape on your elbows. While this may help you with the delivery of the kick, it will also slow you down. Do not attempt to do quick squats to get more power out of your kicks. Instead, focus more on a good heavy base. Good heavy base means more power for the big kick.

When doing the actual kick, do not allow the leg to move after touching the ground. You want to give it time to get up before executing another kick. This will keep you from decelerating as you rise from the ground. Take your time, and always look in the mirror before executing the kick.

It is also important that you have the proper stance when executing the kick. Be sure to be at least five inches away from your strike target. Your hips should be turned slightly backward, and you should be tilted forward slightly to get the maximum out of each kick. When practicing, remember to keep your eyes on the target, so you can keep track of where your body is in relation to the ball. Practice, and it will become second nature to you.

When getting cool kicks, you do not have to do them over. Instead, just do them a few times in a row. Do this with both your feet together, and your arms hanging by your sides. Continue this rotation, and move around the gym as you feel comfortable. As you become more comfortable, you can increase the number of times you execute these cool kicks per rotation.

Make sure that you are always executing the kick with full force. If you over execute it, you will lose your balance, and it could cause you to fall to the ground. Stay in the same position, and execute the kick in the same way. Try to execute the kick with power from your legs, but also get some power from your upper body as well. You want to generate as much power as you can, so use everything you can to get that power.
